Ghost Boy:
Don’t Fade!

A tiny cosmic arcade game where every run becomes art.

The Ghost Boy title screen: a drippy blue ghost above a rainbow brush stroke, with the words Draw to survive Mid-run: Ghost Boy loops through deep space, leaving a thick rainbow trail behind him The results screen: the run’s path framed in gold as a painting titled Notes From the Edge of the Page

How it works

  1. 01
    Drag to steer

Ghost Boy always drifts forward and follows your finger. A rainbow trail pours out behind him wherever he goes.

  2. 02
    Grab paint to keep glowing

His glow drains all the time. Paint drops fill it back up. Loop the trail around itself, fly through doodle gates and dodge paper balls, erasers, scissors and the odd lost sock.

  3. 03
Fade, and see what you made

When his glow runs out, the camera pulls back to show the whole path, then frames it as a painting with its own silly title and number. You faded. Your art didn’t.

  4. 04
    Share it, then go again

Save the painting to Photos or send it on as a story-sized card. One tap starts the next run.

The Closet

Thirteen looks for Ghost Boy, each with its own trail: Golden, Ectoplasm, Fire, Water, Pizza, Galaxy, Bubblegum, Neon, Ice Cream, Crayon and more. Three can be earned just by playing — score 300, play for 30 minutes, or last 90 seconds in a single run. Skins change how he looks and how your paintings look, and nothing else. No skin makes the game easier.

What it isn’t

There are no ads, no account, no sign-in, no chat and no tracking. Nothing about you or your paintings leaves your iPhone unless you choose to share a picture. It is rated 4+, and it is the kind of game you can hand to a kid without reading the small print first.

Free to play

The whole game is free. Skins are optional one-time purchases from $0.99, and the Supporter Pack unlocks all ten paid skins for $5.99. No subscriptions, no coins, no timers, no loot boxes.
