The short version. Ghost Boy is free to play on your own devices. Skins are optional one-time purchases that change how he looks and nothing else. The paintings you make are yours.
Your licence
ELU LABS, LLC grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Ghost Boy on Apple devices you own or control, under the App Store Terms of Service. You may not resell it, rent it out, or take it apart and ship the pieces as your own. Ghost Boy the character, his artwork and the game’s name belong to ELU LABS.
Your paintings
The paintings Ghost Boy makes from your runs are yours to keep, post and share however you like, including the Ghost Boy character that appears on them. Please don’t present them as official ELU LABS artwork or use them to sell something.
Purchases
The game is free. Skins and the Supporter Pack are non-consumable purchases: buy one once and it is yours permanently, with no subscription and nothing recurring. They are cosmetic and give no advantage in play. If the Supporter Pack grows to include new paid skins, people who already own it get them at no extra cost.
Purchases are tied to your Apple Account, carry to your other devices and can be brought back with Restore Purchases in the Closet. Skins earned by playing are kept on the device where you earned them.
Apple handles all payments and refunds. If you want a refund, request it from Apple — we cannot issue one on Apple’s behalf, though we would like to hear what went wrong.
Your progress
Scores, play time, painting numbers and earned skins live on your device and nowhere else. Deleting the app deletes them, and there is no copy for us to restore. See the privacy policy.
Warranty and liability
Ghost Boy is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. ELU LABS, LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.
Apple
Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support for Ghost Boy. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. Support requests should come to us at hello@elulabs.com.
