The short version. GateClaim helps you document a checked bag and put your own baggage claim together as a PDF. Building a claim is free; one payment of $4.99 unlocks PDF export, once, forever. It is an organising tool — not legal advice, not a claims agency, and not connected to any airline.
Your licence
ELU LABS, LLC grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use GateClaim on Apple devices you own or control, under the App Store Terms of Service. You may not resell it, rent it out, or take it apart and ship the pieces as your own.
The purchase
Creating trips, taking photographs, building claims, adding receipts and previewing your claim packet are free and unlimited. Exporting the finished PDF requires a single non-consumable purchase, which then unlocks every future export permanently. There is no subscription and nothing recurring.
The purchase is tied to your Apple Account, so it carries to your other devices and can be restored with Restore Purchases.
Apple handles all payments and refunds. If you want a refund, request it from Apple — we cannot issue one on Apple’s behalf, though we would like to hear what went wrong.
Not legal advice
The filing windows GateClaim shows — commonly 7 days for damage, and 21 days for delay or loss on international itineraries — are guidance based on widely cited Montreal Convention time limits. They are not legal advice and may not apply to your journey. Domestic rules, your airline’s conditions of carriage, and local law can differ.
You are responsible for confirming the limits and requirements that apply to your claim with your airline, and with a qualified professional where it matters. ELU LABS, LLC is not responsible for a claim that is refused, reduced or missed, including one affected by a date shown in the app.
Not affiliated with any airline
GateClaim is unofficial and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any airline, airport or aviation authority. It does not contact an airline and does not submit anything on your behalf — you send the claim yourself, and you are responsible for what it says.
Your data
Your trips, photographs and claims live on your device and nowhere else. Deleting the app or its data removes them for good, and there is no copy for us to restore. See the privacy policy.
Warranty and liability
GateClaim is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. ELU LABS, LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.
Apple
Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support for GateClaim. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. Support requests should come to us at hello@elulabs.com.
